CNN: Breaking US & World News App Reviews

CNN is corrupt. I dont give a crap about Donald Trump and CNNs over coverage of his tyrannical behaviors and ideology. You (CNN) have a responsibility to make America better as the media. Your biases towards Secretary Clinton and Trump have become so obvious, are bad for America and the world, and I will no longer use you as a media source.

I find many old articles that still grace the pages. Attachments are always accompanied by pop ups which most times prevent an article being opened and read. Im all for advertising but come on! Links to videos..still have to wait for the commercials to get over . The delete option is not there until the commercial message is over . Funny thing, I can go to USA Today and the same article doesnt have the ads..hmmm.

CNN is a horrible news app... Often times the formatting cuts off sentences. At least get the content formatted correctly. Who QAs your iOS dev? Your customers? Terrible that such a large company would consistently release an app that cuts off sentences or paragraphs. This has been going on for months. Fix your darn app!

Since the latest update the app will not open and keeps crashing.

I love CNN! I prefer reading news on a laptop, but this app is very familiar and easy to use compared with the site. The election center is especially great.

The content is good and current; however, the App takes forever to load on my iPad, and recently it took 3 days for the breaking news story to change. Not very breaking news. Finally took it off my iPad and only use on iPhone.

CNN app is amazing and I love it + it is one of my favorite broadcast news app. Thx

I have always liked CNN, so I am glad to have the app. I like the notifications. CNN is better about them than NPR, though often when I want to look at the article it is nowhere to be found. Also the paragraphs cut off frequently, so I have to guess or just move on. The video mixes are blatantly biased and make me feel like Im watching an immature BuzzFeed video. Id still have this over Fox.

Its a decent news app, EXCEPT for the same stupid ads every time I want to see a news video.

I think the title says it all. Commercials start playing while swiping through the app or just reading an article. Im nowhere near clicking on it, and it is horribly annoying.

Regardless of political viewpoint, the app is constructed well. Smooth and efficient.

I have notifications turned on for CNN news updates. Every time I swipe the notification to read the CNN story it takes me to some other news event. One example, on 4/21/16 I swiped the notification to read the news about the death of Prince, it took me to election coverage. Fix this please.

I find myself increasingly disillusioned by online news media. It seems even the most seasoned outlets cannot seem to edit or catch mistakes that make some news stories seem like they were written by high school students. I also think there are a lot of stories that should be covered that arent. That being said, the site is ok for major news outlets, functionality is fine. I like the updates on my watch.

It seems like this app has got worse. There seems to be a lack of stories. I want to see good stories besides regular news. It can be local stories of people and animals doing good for the county. I grow tired of stories of dumb parents getting money for unsupervised children being shot by the police because they have a gun in their hand. I blame the stupid parents. The country is falling and I need to hear and see what good that might be left. Revise stories and remake the app. Thanks

A great way to stay caught up at lunchtime. Could be formatted a bit better - some sentences get cut off. Also wound like to see more up to date material. Too much in old stuff. Last weeks news isnt news. But in general, not bad

CNN is essentially Fox News for the Democratic Party. If you want news get it from various sources. Uninstalling.

This app is beyond annoying. Why why why do you keep playing the same Korean Air advertisement with the same screeching song on every single clip. I am about to pull my hair out if I hear that ad one more time. TORTURE!!! I have no problem with ads but the exact same ad on every story FOR WEEKS???

Used to be great, now constantly redirects to advertising sites.
