CNN: Breaking US & World News App Reviews

I always turn to CNN for up to date news and events around the world. It is my most trusted source especially when they send their own in harms way to keep the public informed. You cant get more genuine than that.

I have two apps that I find myself constantly using, they are my Walgreen App & my CNN App. LOVE them wouldnt want to do without them thats for sure!!!

Excellent reporting and very reliable.

Good news stories, but I do not like when the Pop up ads more or less take over! I change channels when that happens.

Software needs update. Always crashes

CNN is the real fair and balenced network. They take no political stance. Ive always watched this network.

The CNN App is must- have app on international news. I love it. The good thing about the app is the frequent updates

The app works fine and I particularly like the advisories, which unlike APs, you can track to the content. However, as on TV, you content is biased, repetitive and full of trite.

I work a lot of hours but I am a news junkie. I am so happy to have this app on my iPhone. I can now stay in touch, informed and in-the-know with whats going on in the world throughout the day. Thanks for allowing me to easily access the news CNN!

Only reviewing the app. Not the news channel or bias. App is user friendly, crashes on some occasion. Overall experience has been good.

The segments are constantly interrupted to not show commercial breaks but shows the same promos over and over. I will never log on to the Great Big Story just to protest! Poor app - it seems CNN is not committed to this and is still pushing cable. Id rather get the news and see a commercial rather than the clunky delivery.

I am a news junkie. Cant rely on one source, so I check CNN, MSNBC, Fox, BBC and several others. CNN is very thorough, relatively unbiased, reliable and accurate.

Good content, horrible app. On top of what everyone else is saying Id like to add that on my iPhone 5 the stories and titles get cut off a lot. Sentences end mid sentence, its strange. Or the entire title wont display. Whats with *Great Big Story* articles mixed in with CNN ones? Their site takes forever to load and I cant get back to CNN until it does. Also, I hate that if you click on an article with a video youre forced to wait for the ad to load before you can go back to the main screen. At least you can read as many articles as you want per month... Only reason its 2 stars over 1.

I am fine with CNN app content, but having to watch the same 14 second Korean Airlines commercial before any video for an entire week is beyond annoying. I will probably change news apps for this reason.

Good overview of the news from an American perspective. Good subjects.

Many times the home screen will have a video along with a headline. You click on the story expecting to hear about that story and a video about what the headline states but it is often something else. So you waste your time and data for something you wouldnt have clicked on. Happened many times. Frustrating.

I like this app because of its large number of good stories.
