CNN: Breaking US & World News App Reviews

Always slanted to the left. Liberals look good and Conservatives are always made to look bad via their photos, headlines and stories.

Great App

So James Earl Jones welcomes you when you login, whether you want it or not, this is especially awesome when you are trying to be quiet, like in a class or meeting. Dont worry, turning the volume down, turning off the ringer, submerging in water, all are impervious to JEJs bass voice. Also, ads are immune to volume control, which is especially awesome because the ads are literally the most sensitive touch-point on the app, you can hammer away at an article and never get a response, but just think about the ad placed in the app and voila! Youre there there at full volume. Whats worse, breaking news is well behind the web, layout is clunky at best, and click bait is embedded to look like news stories. All in all, this is my favorite news app, right behind literally everything else.

Video never matches with headline or article content its in. For example - article headline is Obama blast Trump and Gop and Dems.. When you click on it and play the video - its jake tapper forecasting who will be at this years White House dinner. This happens almost every-time on every article. Get it right CNN!!

The app is not to bad except the stories seem slow in updating sometimes ..I would check them out daily and there the same but the adds change..sometimes there is no story at all ..

Very difficult to navigate. I like there are lots of stories.

Crashes frequently in all versions and all ios devices. Also the content is often misleading, with headings that do not match the video. Empty stories. Broken links. Where are the reader comments?

Videos are glitchy and sometimes arent the right videos posted on the main page

Same stories run for weeks. App crashes when you click to read or watch the video version of the story. In general seems like they have no journalists, just everyday people reporting the news. Not professional. Used to be better but deteriorating. (Sorry to be so negative. Maybe they can improve someday.)

I use this everyday its how I can stay up to date with news!

The app simply no longer works on an iPad. It can take ten minutes or more to load new content. Very buggy. The ads are out of control too.

The majority of the time CNN picks up a story on police, they write about them in a negative manner. Its sickening.

Im only writing this to see if CNN will stop asking me to rate their app if I do.

CNN (Clinton News Network) is just as biased as Fox News. Sad what passes for journalism nowadays. This network is a machine of propaganda and the app only helps it to further its reach.

There is no way to increase the font size, making reading a story difficult for mature eyes. Also, text at the end of paragraphs appears to cut off mid sentence. One must scroll above (or below) and then back again in order for the remaining text to appear.
