Very Useful!!!

CNN is great. This where I get all my global news as well as local. I have CNN during the election year almost everyday. Recommend the CNN app to viewers who was to hear in-depth analysis of issues.

Variety and up to date news. I check updates a few times a day as I dont watch TV.

Terrible app, feeds are bad, disorganized

This app just kills! A must-have and go-to for whats going on in the vast world!

The app itself is far more stable than other competing news agencies. I do not intend to address my concerns over the writing and reporting here. I will however draw one distinction around the irresponsible non news from our partners. Surely there is a better way inform the community. From our partners is nothing more than a new variant to junk mail. The airlines dont even serve cookies anymore, but CNN treats America like we all are the Cookie Monster feeding us thinly veiled tabloid like garbage. We dont all have a 5th grade level education and Half of the content "articles" are beyond insulting. Congrats to your legal team for coming up with from our "partners" aka marketeers to the masses.

The CNN app promises to deliver you the world and they make good on that offer. The app icon sits like a bright red beacon of hope on the home screen of my iPhone 6S Plus. I was a fan of CNN in the 1990s, went away and now came back strong in the past few years. I will say that the sick feeling I got from hearing Bill OReilly and the Fox Family news players was one factor, but the fact is that in breaking news situations CNN has always been the best. Everyone should have this app at the ready. I give 4 of 5 stars because as some have mentioned, the app can be a little disorganized. Thats not the quality of the news its the layout. There has to be some millennial in Northern California who would love to get their multitasking hands on this and give it a makeover. Lastly, I use the app often for streaming the live CNN feed. The crazy thing is that almost 50% of the time the streaming window fires up on a stand by / limbo screen. By the time I finish my tea and biscuits sometimes the live feed is back and sometimes its like being at GOP headquarters on Donald Trump Appreciation Day- empty. Keep up the good work. After Desert Storm, Wolf Blitzer, some scripted new shows about the 80s and presidents, Im a fan for life. Get the app folks- the offer the world and thats not so bad.

The layout is great and its easy to use. But it will sometimes go days between news updates. Not sure why it has trouble reconnecting or whatever, but 4-day old news is useless. Already deleted from my iPad, soon to be off my iPhone.

I love that I can simply pick up my device when I wake up and see whats happening. BUT, its often that I tap a video only to find nothing their. Also, there will be a new news heading that is a follow up to a previous story. Then when I tap the new story its just a repeat of the old one. Sometimes its an entirely different story.

I have an iPhone 5. This app crashes within 5 seconds of opening. Useless.

It is nice to see breaking news, but the articles are short on substance and pictures. App hasnt updated in a week. App is dead.

Has has a tendency to run very slow. Takes a few minutes to update when you first open the app.

The CNN coverage of this political campaign for POTUS has been decidedly one-sided in favor of Donald Trump. Without such seemingly never-ending coverage of speeches, sound bites and other free coverage of Trump, the media, and especially CNN, has provided Trump with an unfair advantage over his many Republican adversaries since the fall of 2015. So what do I think of CNN? Not much, when you consider that balanced campaign coverage should have afforded all of Trumps rivals, both past and present, equal time for both radio and TV air time with Donald Trump. It almost seems like CNNs President, Jeff Zucker, has gone out of his way to help anoint Donald Trump as the next President of the United States. CNN s very unfair and unbalanced campaign coverage in favor of Donald Trump is contrary to historically fair and balanced reporting of previous political campaigns and should be stopped before a new Neo-Nazi dictator could become the leader of the free world. What a mess CNN has made of this campaign!!!
